Dear, I share a video with a small portion (about 10 minutes) of my participation in the Seminar "Political Use of memory and the future of democracy in Latin America , held in Buenos Aires on Monday 27 and Tuesday 28 September, in whom I shared the panel with the Argentine philosopher and senator-Samuel Cabanchik and the Ambassador of Chile to Argentina, Adolfo ZaldÃvar.
I invite you to listen to what is stated in those minutes, where I tackle the issue of building the future of American democracy, focusing Aristotelian political theory, the figure of Mujica as necessary paradigm shift toward moderation and consensus politics, the need for education that emphasizes the value of the argument and a philosophy of otherness, the practice of policy agreements that enable long-term government-based on a strong inter-party-system and the strengthening of democratic institutions and rule of law (and I mean in this sense in my last round Questions to the theme of memory and the past in relation to the violation of human rights in our recent past).
