Install American Standard 3375 Faucet

Education, Ethics and Politics: the double movement Mujica

Dear, the eighth installment of Point F, the pleasure of thinking in Radio El Espectador (AM810), we end this first cycle of the column, devoted to family entirely Ancient Greek Philosophy. On this occasion, I made the approach as a synthesis of three points today from the work of the three main philosophers of that period. These points were accompanied by marked up some questions that were raised for further discussion. The titles of these points and questions were outlined: Socrates and virtue (What is the role of education is now around values \u200b\u200beducation?, Education Should be a space where knowledge and ethics are not differentiated?, Should education mainly promote self-knowledge in the student?) P brass and politics search as well (What is the role of the philosopher today in our society, What link is with politics and the rulers? seems to be a notable absence of public philosopher and philosophy: what does this imply about the development of our contemporary democracies?) Aristotle and happiness (is it possible and necessary to reinstall a debate on the political from the concept of happiness associated with the virtues, ethical reflection?, what is the current link between philosophy and political science?)

I invite you to discuss these points and questions raised. I welcome your comments on this blog space.
