Plan Andaluz de Agricultura Ecológica.
The budget for this Plan for the next seven years amounts to 325 million euros
. These public funds are used to support the
organic production, improving processing and marketing of products and
promoting consumption, among other actions. If you add private investment
provided, this amounts to 400 million euros.
Andalusia has 584,550 hectares dedicated to organic farming,
representing 12% more than last year. As the number of companies manufacturing
organic foods and, therefore, incorporate
value added to raw materials, amounted to 377, 20% more than in 2006.
